What’s new in helpmypc.ai v0.2?

Last updated: May 2026

v0.2 is a major beta improvement focused on safer, clearer, and more reliable computer help. It is not a full public commercial launch or v1.0, and the product remains in beta while it continues to improve through real-world testing.

A safer beta experience

helpmypc.ai now does more to slow down when a problem could involve data loss, account access, scams, recovery keys, hardware faults, or other situations where a rushed answer could make things worse.

Better computer troubleshooting

First answers for common PC problems have been improved so users should get a clearer starting point. Follow-up replies are also handled more carefully, so the assistant is less likely to repeat itself or ignore information the user already gave.

Better image and screenshot help

v0.2 improves how helpmypc.ai handles screenshots and follow-up replies, so if you upload an image of an error or blue screen and then reply with what happened next, the assistant should keep better track of that context.

Image support is still part of the beta and may not read every screenshot perfectly, so avoid risky steps where data, account access or hardware faults are involved.

Stronger safety checks

v0.2 adds stronger safety around risky situations such as failing storage, missing files, BitLocker or recovery-key prompts, fake support popups, account or password problems, blue-screen or Windows stop-code crashes, overheating, power faults, and other hardware concerns.

My PC Health

My PC Health is now available for one monitored PC on the free plan. It is designed to help show useful health signals for a Windows PC, while keeping paid Pro and Business options out of the public launch until they are ready.

The app layout has also been refined so My PC Health is easier to find and clearer to use as part of the main helpmypc.ai experience.

Still in beta

helpmypc.ai can make mistakes. Use common sense and avoid risky steps where data, accounts, hardware, money, or business-critical systems are involved.

If a device may have failing storage, important missing files, liquid damage, burning smells, repeated shutdowns, scam activity, or account-access risk, stop and contact a trusted repair professional or the relevant account provider before taking further action.
